Standard Crown Grinding Attachment
The Crowning Stage is an innovative attachment for lathes, which provides a versatile, simple to operate, accurate, and affordable solution for fully automatic crowning of rollers. This electronically controlled attachment produces all crown profiles used by the roller industry, and offers additional features such as taper and machine inaccuracy compensations.
Because you can install your existing grinder onto the Crowning Stage attachment, the system is more affordable. Industry standard flat motors, spindle type grinders, and belt grinders can be installed easily onto the Crowning Stage.
In the standard version, the Crowning Stage has a travel of 1” (25.4mm) per side, and is fully enclosed and sealed for dry or wet operation.
